For forcing Cabreth Nelinderra and Larekh into flight and destroying their White Reapers you each gain 89,600 experience points\

each party remember gains 1 hero points for defeating the Cult Leaders in Castle Maerimydra

Loot

the Vampire Noble Captain had: Belt of Dex+4, Bracers of Armor+5, +3 Wounding Adamantine Scimitar, Ring of Protection+2, Amulet of Natural Armor+2, Lesser Pifwafwi, Headband of Charisma/int+2, Ring of Evasion, 1 Potion of Haste, Potion of Fly, 1 Dose of Purple Worm Poison

Each White Banshee (of 2) had: +5 Large Scythe, +2 Large Mithral Breastplate

On the altar was a Tome of Understanding+2

The Treasure Vault had: The Warblade of Cormanthyr, 480 pp, 8,400 gp, 26,300 sp, a set of six golden goblets worth 300 gp each, a masterwork lute made of zalantar wood with mithral flets worth 4,400 gp, a ceremonial court costume of black and gold worth 1,600 gp, and a coffer full of assorted gemstones 30 gems worth 50 gp apiece, plus twelve more 100 gp apiece and a truly outstanding emerald worth 6,000 gp). Also found were a Staff of Frost with 40 charges, +4 elven chainmail of invulnerability and a +3 heavy mace of disruption

The gems are trade items and can be sold for 100% of their value however the goblets, costume, and lute are somewhat curiosities and need to be sold at the rate other loot gets. After some negotiation Moxie was able to find merchants in Waterdeep willing to buy (sell rate) at 60% of the items value. They seem somewhat more resistant to attempts to part with their wares at a lower rate though, you'll still need to pay 100% for any purchases.

Furthermore you feel that the elves resident in Waterdeep's temple of Corellon Larethian (Cief diety of the Elven Pantheon) would probably be very interested to know that you have recovered an ancient artifact of their people.

What does D'yb know of these elves of Corellon Larethian? Are they our best bet?
Are they gonna start a holy war with this sword? Any weirdness?

Does he believe an object of such power and value should go to them, rather than say the followers of Ellistraee? These people, and a certain Lyrakien Azata, were much more helpful to him in the past.

Either way, as an azata, Moxie would probably be our best face approaching either group. D'yb recommends being careful who we even talk to about having an invaluable lost artifact.

From what you know of the lost Elfblades they are semi-intelligent and insist on choosing their own wielders, whose suitability as a candidate is judged upon said individual's drawing of the sword from its scabbard. Historically all previous wielders of the Warblade were moon or sun elves of considerable martial prowess and good if somewhat chaotic ethos. Since the Warblades were created by the elves of Myth Drannor who pretty much hated drow it's unlikely that the blade would accept one as a wielder, generally being judged unsuitable is immediately fatal. So it's unlikely the followers of Ellistraee would be able to make much use of such a weapon.

Modern elves, while somewhat distrustful of non elves and obviously more so of drow, aren't likely to be immediately hostile if approached by proper channels in their temple in Waterdeep. Regarding "starting a holy war", that seems unlikely. The elves of Faerun have been in Retreat for the past six hundred years or so, and the Ruins of Myth Drannor have remained a monster and devil haunted ruin since the fall of the city to the Army of Darkness around that time. Any attempt to reclaim that lost civilization would be both an epic undertaking in scope and mark a seismic shift in the policy of the remaining elven nations.
