37,600 is the harp's total price, not the price to create it, which would be half of that.

Pincer Staves are the favored weapon of Kuo-Toa, who treat them as simple weapons. They are exotic weapons to everyone else. It's basically just a quarterstaff that has the trip and disarm special qualities. Base price is double that of a normal quarterstaff.
