sorry, forgot to include xp for the greater glyph of warding trap you dispelled on the iron doors, which was a cr9, so add another 1,600 xp each, bringing the total to 11,200 each

RE: POISON. Check the values of poisons wefind, I remember that doses of some poisons fetch a good price.

Been looking into summoned monsters that can help against our problematic boss if a wand of daylight isn't possible or proves to not be enough.

Earth elementals have tremorsense 60ft.

Level 5 bearded devils and level 6 Erinyes have see in darkness.. but are evil and likely wont get by DR. Hitting AC37 is also next to impossible for my creatures. Erinyes also has telepathy and true seeing though so she could maybe direct people?

Level 6 also has shadow demons who can cast deeper darkness at will. So if readied it could counterspell deeper darkness as it is cast. Just don't cast daylight or it will be powerless.

Good news: unhallow is expensive and takes a long time to cast so if we are quick enough to return that wont be an issue.

AND... before the fight I will be casting protective penumbra on D'yb and Jaxx to protect them from their light sensitivity when the lights go on.

We are only 5,000 XP for me and 6,000XP for you. Anything the fighter could do to prepare for our next encounter?

A few minutes after you reach the Inverted Tower, Larala pads silently through the door looking somewhat flustered. She states that she waited a moment and then returned to the Iron-doored area to see what transpired after you left. She found the area apparently empty, and after passing through a secret door which had been left ajar in the rear wall, it seems that the Vampire Priestess of Kiaransalee and Suztam Mar-Shinn have escaped as well, apparently through magical means.

She says she found nothing of value in the rooms but it seems that the villains dropped a letter in their haste, which is somewhat crumpled now but readable:

In character: Fuck.

Out of character: We really know how to draw-out a fight that's designed for us to run away from

Side note; Looks like I know what my spell selection list will now look like for the next 4+ levels! Anyone know if I can ever get channel energy like a Cleric somehow?

If Larala says it's clear, we should dimension door back, grab the loot we left behind and then maybe teleport to waterdeep to gather ressources (I have both spells still available today) We can report back to Randal Morn in the morning?

Yeah we should grab everything we can, sell and spend the loot then get back to Randell to figure out what the hell to do next. There is definitely a burning rage building up inside after that battle.....really want to smash some heads in!!! (in character of course)

After some discussion with Solom Ned'Razak he imparts to you that he is likely to be the nominal leader of Szith Morcane for the foreseeable future. He and Tooman Thendrick have agreed to an informal power sharing agreement in which Larala Dumian and Dessa Sik-Morcane (the other chick you rescued) will have an advisory capacity. Solom is clearly the informal head of this group by right of both personal power and because he commands the loyalty of the Inverted Tower guards and apprentices as well as an association with the remaining Spellguard wizards.

Solom is quite concerned about the letter Larala found, as well as the escape of the vampire priestess. You believe her to be a member of House T'sarran, formerly a minor noble house of Maerimydra but now apparently quite a dangerous bunch indeed. What has transpired in Maerimydra is still somewhat unclear but according to Solom's other sources it seems that there was some sort of major military conflict there and that a coup has taken place, with the followers of Kiaransalee, presumably led by House T'sarran, playing a major role.

He is also very concerned by the ominous signing of the note by "Mother" and by her reference to a "Great Revenance", which he has not yet had time to look into but might be some sort of powerful spell or magical ritual. He urges you to continue to pursue the matter and offers help in doing so.

Before taking his leave to attend to other matters Solon Ned'Rezak finally hands you a copy of a map showing the location of Szith Morcane to Maerimydra and the surrounding tunnels etc etc.

Solom Ned'Rezak tells you that he has limited knowledge of the city of Maerimydra. He states that he is a native of the city of Sshamath, which is quite distant. His previous divinations of the few Maerimydrans he's bothered to scried revealed there was some kind of schism occuring there, as well as a strange disturbance of the Weave (of magic) in some cases.
